In 2008–2009, we sold over 374 such systems. Most of these were sold in Slovenia, but some were also sold abroad.

We have taken all necessary measures to ensure that ERAGON boilers with built-in pellet-fuelled burners function in accordance with the regulations and meet the norms set out in the Public tender to grant financial incentives to citizens for the use of renewable energy sources and greater energy efficiency in residential buildings 1SUB-OB08.

With the increase of oil prices on global markets, growing environmental awareness and the introduction of new fuel burning technologies, biomass energy is becoming an increasingly important energy source for heating buildings.

Biomass fuelled burners, which use wood pellets as fuel follow this trend.

• It operates on the principle of biomass combustion in fluid layers, comparable to the combustion of light fuel oil. The burner design is the product of our knowledge and is patent protected.
• The main feature of the burner is its high efficiency; the emission of flue gases is in accordance with legal restrictions. It is designed for smaller heating output consumers, such as residential buildings and households.
• The burner is water-cooled, which is a great advantage and enables a long-lasting product life. The water-cooling chamber of the burner sets aside 5 to 8kW/h of useable water during operation.
• The burner is connected between R” and F” over the pump to enable the sufficient flow and cooling of the burner’s chamber.
• The operation of the burner is fully automatic, comparable to burners which operate on extra light fuel oil or that use gas burners.
• Cleaning the burner chamber is automatic and done through the el. valve using compressed air, if it has been connected to a compressor.
